UV curable materials are increasingly been used in many production lines. These materials are typically cured fast with UV thus increasing UPH and productivity. Their reliability and range of usage have also increased tremendously. However, their reliability is dependent on good curing equipment and processes. Good curing equipment is necessary but without a controlled process, proper curing of the material will not be possible. The parameter of importance here is the UV intensity.

UV intensity is monitored using a UV intensity meter. Typically UV intensity is measured at certain intervals over the production period and then recorded. This method is not desirable as it depends on the operator doing their job properly, not productive, and requires manual retention of records.

UVREAD-RT system is intended to address all these issues. UVREAD-RT incorporates durable proprietary sensors that can be installed for real-time monitoring. Its sensor records UV intensity, displays them in real-time, and stored them for references.

In addition, it allows users to set limits for quality control and provide alerts when intensity is out of specs. It is industry 4.0 enabled which means operator can monitor UV systems remotely.
